The inner tent offers huge space for four tall sleepers, it has got a 10 cm high bathtub floor. Through the two entrances and two vestibules you can enter the tent with the entrance only half opened, so no rain will get into the inner tent.
Apart from the 4-person F8 inner you can use two separate 1-person inner tents (like the V4 inners) inside the F8 flysheet to create parted sleeping rooms or decide to use a 2-person inner tent like the V8 inner.
The lower part of the inner is made from a plain Tafetta fabric to reduce airflow, and in combination with the variable pitching height and two closeable top vents the venting can be contolled perfectly. The top-loop can be used to pitch the tent with outer poles, or to hang it from a tree.
The F8 is delivered with 8 pegs for the minimal setup, and in case of heavy weather it offers 23 pegging points overall.
The flysheet is made from 40D ripstop nylon with SI/PU coating, all the major seams are doubled with tough webbing to increase the stability.
The SilOctapeak F8 is delivered with a pack sack, velcro, seam sealant and 8 pcs aluminium Y-style pegs. You need an additional pole of ~185 cm height, for example our Tarp Pole 197.
